Exponential growth A=pe^kt

How to find time(t) in the equation pe^rt ?

asked Aug 18, 2017 in Algebra by Sunmi

1 Answer

A=pe^kt

 ln(A) = ln(pe^kt)  = ln(p) + ln(e^kt)     log (xy) = log(x) + log(y)

  ln(A)  = ln(p) + kt

   loge(en) = n loge(e) ; loge(e) = 1

 t = [ln(A) - ln(P)]/k
