How to solve the equation by using the zero-factor property?

I'm trying to solve the equation

3X^2 = 5X + 2

but I'm not quite sure how to use zero factor property. Help me, please.

All you need to do is to set each factor equal to zero and solve for x

3x2 = 5x + 2

3x2 - (5x+2) = 5x + 2- (5x+2)

3x2 - 5x - 2 = 0

(3x +  1 )(x - 2) = 0

3x + 1 = 0
3x = -1

x = -1/3

x-2 = 0

x = 2
